Online Baccarat Rules

Baccarat tips

Baccarat is one of the simplest games to play, so therefore can be very enjoyable. As with any game, there are only two things you need to know in order to play. This is the objective of the game and the rules.
The objective of Baccarat is to draw a three or two card hand that adds up as close to nine as possible, and is closer than the banker's hand. Picture cards and the 10 count as 0, whereas the ace has the value of 1. The rest of the pack of cards are worth their face value. A simple objective to say the least! Once the final cards are dealt, the one with the cards that is closest to nine in total wins. If you're new to baccarat then its worth comparing various sites before you decide to sign up and play. For players that are already familiar with the game, then make sure that you keep on regular promoters such as popular Jackpot Games and many others.
Like any good game, there are rules to adhere to.
The banker and the player each draw two cards.
If either the player or banker has cards adding up to 8 or 9, both stand.
If the player's total is 6 or 7, they will stand.
If the player's total is 5 or less, the player automatically needs a third card from the banker.
If the player receives a third card, then the banker draws a third card according to the following:

If the banker's hand totals 0,1 or 2:  The banker will always draw a third card.
If the banker's hand totals 3: Banker draws if Player's third card is 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 9/0 (not 8)
If the banker's hand totals 4: The banker draws if player thirds 2/3/4/5/6/7
If the banker's hand totals 5: The banker draws if player thirds 4/5/6/7
If the banker's hand totals 6: The banker draws if player thirds 6/7
If the banker's hand totals 7: The banker stands.

Please note that some casino sites will have variations of Baccarat and therefore it is important to ensure that these specific rules are clearly understood before you play.
